Happy 3rd Birthday Addicted to CAS Challenge #77 Dimension + DT Call

Afternoon Crafters!

I have found another fun challenge today, Addicted to CAS! They are celebrating their 3rd birthday. The Challenge is to keep your card CAS, but add dimension. You should go see the amazing goodies that are up for the winning! I have been playing more and more with Clean and Simple cards and have really come to like it. The cupcake was backed with foam tape to give the card dimension along with the addition of the sequins. The cup cake is so glittery it will blow your mind. I wish my camera could pick up better.

They are also having a DT call and I think I may try out for this one too. Wish me luck!

Here is my submission for this weeks event.

Happy Birthday Cup Cake was created with:

Neenah Solar White card stock 80#, Bazzill card stock in teal, Elizabeth Craft Designs peel and stick cup cakes, Elizabeth Craft Designs Microfine glitter, Copic markers, Sequins, Aleen's Tacky Glue, Sookwang double sided adhesive sheets, ATG Adhesive Gun, Happy Birthday Stamp from Stampabilities, Licorice pigment ink, TH Micro fine black embossing powder, heat gun and 3M Double Stick foam tape.

I'm back with a new card for a fun challenge over at Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.  Foxy!

This was my take of the Foxy Challenge:

The card stock is an old Bazzill double scoop paper, the clouds were all made with QK dies, images were stamped on Neenah card stock with memento tuxedo black ink. Images and die cuts are from Mama Elephant. They are my new favorite stamping company. I love these little foxes they are adorable.

Naughty or Nice Challenge #21 Monochromatic

I'm so excited I stumbled across a new blog today. The Naughty or Nice Challenges they have a really fun challenge going this month "Monochromatic" I have colored the perfect card for this and I'm so glad I get a chance to enter it here. The design is a digital download Mandela from Fred She Said Designs. It was colored in using Copic Markers, hand cut and stacked with pop dots. It is embellished with Stickles and rhinestones. It reminded me of a snow flake and I got a free die from Taylored expressions and it ended up being perfect for the card title. The paper used for the die cut was Bazzill.

Here is the card creation:

Charlie and Dog Revisited " A Farewell to Whiff of Joy"

WOW! Its been a long time since I have visited and updated my blog. It feels good to be back and sad at the same time. I see a lot folks have stopped crafting or are gone. Time changes things in amazing ways. I've been gone due to a serious spinal injury and surgery. I'm back and in amazing shape thanks to one of the most talented and wonderful surgeons in Houston. Thank you Dr. Shih for giving me my life back.

So now on to my card creation, this is an old Whiff of Joy stamp that had been collecting dust and was being neglected. This was the very first stamp I had ever purchased on line. I figured this was a great place to get started again and I was pleasantly surprised with what the end result was. I hope you enjoyed seeing him again as much as I did. On another note about this stamp I discovered that Whiff of Joy is going out of business. Their last day open online will be November 28, 2015. Please go visit them for there farewell. I wish her well and all good things to  come in the next year.

Whiff of Joy I will miss you, You have brought me great joy.

R #70 Ribbons

Hi Crafty Friends,

Hope Friday found you doing well. We have been so busy at work with our office putting in a new computer program I lost track of time and forgot to post sorry it's posted so late. The challenge this week at Crafts 4 Eternity is "Ribbons"!!! I love ribbon, but I'm kind of challenged when it comes to using it. I hope you like this weeks design.

The stamped image is " Daisy" an Elisabeth Bell design stamp. This was colored with distress ink on cold press water color paper. The printed paper is some left over stash I had from Basic Grey and the flowers are prima that have been highlighted with stickles in star dust. The leaves are punched from an EK success punch. Hope you have fun creating.
