Naughty or Nice Challenge #21 Monochromatic

I'm so excited I stumbled across a new blog today. The Naughty or Nice Challenges they have a really fun challenge going this month "Monochromatic" I have colored the perfect card for this and I'm so glad I get a chance to enter it here. The design is a digital download Mandela from Fred She Said Designs. It was colored in using Copic Markers, hand cut and stacked with pop dots. It is embellished with Stickles and rhinestones. It reminded me of a snow flake and I got a free die from Taylored expressions and it ended up being perfect for the card title. The paper used for the die cut was Bazzill.

Mojo Monday Card Challenge #424

This sketch was made by Julee over at Mojo Monday. This is for week #424. 

Here is my take on this weeks sketch, I used some Tim Holtz and SU Christmas stamps from a few years ago. The paper is Bazzill Kraft paper, TH Distress paper, and TH Holiday paper. I use my Cuttle bug and embossing folders along with some of my Spellbinders dies. There is also an acrylic stamped piece in this card too. Thanks for stopping by to look.

Charlie and Dog Revisited " A Farewell to Whiff of Joy"

WOW! Its been a long time since I have visited and updated my blog. It feels good to be back and sad at the same time. I see a lot folks have stopped crafting or are gone. Time changes things in amazing ways. I've been gone due to a serious spinal injury and surgery. I'm back and in amazing shape thanks to one of the most talented and wonderful surgeons in Houston. Thank you Dr. Shih for giving me my life back. 

So now on to my card creation, this is an old Whiff of Joy stamp that had been collecting dust and was being neglected. This was the very first stamp I had ever purchased on line. I figured this was a great place to get started again and I was pleasantly surprised with what the end result was. I hope you enjoyed seeing him again as much as I did. On another note about this stamp I discovered that Whiff of Joy is going out of business. Their last day open online will be November 28, 2015. Please go visit them for there farewell. I wish her well and all good things to  come in the next year. 

Whiff of Joy I will miss you, You have brought me great joy.

Fussy & Fancy Challenge 63: New Baby

Good Morning to All,

I hope this day finds everyone having some fun, especially since it's friday! This week at Fussy and Fancy  it's all about the wee ones. I just love the sweet smell of little babies and all the cute snuggles and smiles. This is my wee card for New Baby.

This card also reminds me this month is my daughters birthday, wow it's really been 22 years. The Wee Ones card was created using card stock and printed paper from We R Memory Keepers " baby mine" boy line. Spellbinders for the scalloped square, edge punch from ek, ribbon from BoBunny and candy dots from Pebbles. The stamped image is " Monica With Pacifier " from House Mouse. R #70 Ribbons

Hi Crafty Friends,

Hope Friday found you doing well. We have been so busy at work with our office putting in a new computer program I lost track of time and forgot to post sorry it's posted so late. The challenge this week at Crafts 4 Eternity is "Ribbons"!!! I love ribbon, but I'm kind of challenged when it comes to using it. I hope you like this weeks design.

The stamped image is " Daisy" an Elisabeth Bell design stamp. This was colored with distress ink on cold press water color paper. The printed paper is some left over stash I had from Basic Grey and the flowers are prima that have been highlighted with stickles in star dust. The leaves are punched from an EK success punch. Hope you have fun creating.

R #69 Spring

 

Good Morning Ladies,

  Well here it is, Friday again. This is such a fun challenge this week at crafts 4 eternity it's all about SPRING!!! I love this time of year with the beautiful flowers, warmer weather and lots of grilling on the BBQ. This is also a time when my husband and I enjoy going to the classic car shows. So without further ado here is my ode to spring. 

The image is a Magnolia colored with Copics and flower soft added to give some dimension to her flowers and flower basket. The printed paper is from My Minds eye and the edges were distressed and inked. The bow is made from a paper template and the Butterfly is a MS punch.

R #68 Something New

Hi again crafters,

Hope this week finds you doing well. This week over at Crafts 4 Eternity we are doing something new. I have always wanted to make an embellished printers tray. This was my perfect op, so I grabbed my favorite My Minds Eye paper line and headed for the table. I hope you enjoyed this weeks new creation.

Hello Crafters,

Happy Friday to all! This Week at Crafts 4 Eternity we will be using cool greys so break out your monochrome skills and lets see your beautiful creations.

Here is the Cool Grey monochrome goodie I created. This sweetie was made with Bazzill black & grey card stock, assorted printed papers from my scrap stash, Copics, the cutest Magnolia stamp EVER, and other stash goodies I had lying around.

An Amazing Easter

Hi Crafty Peeps!

I have some amazing news I was accepted to the Fussy and Fancy DT!!!! I am Fussy and Fancy girl and I'm so excited to be working with such a talented bunch of ladies. So please stop by and visit this amazing group and come play in the challenges. I hope you all had a happy and blessed Easter. Mine was great, I got to spend time with my sister and precious niece. She just turned three and I think she is still stuck in the terrible twos. I tried all weekend to get a decent pic of her and this is the only one.

She's such a stinker! I also replaced my outdated cameras this week and took some gorgeous photos of the spring flowers here in Texas. These are just a few.

R# 66 Bunnies & Chicks

Good Friday to you all,

This is so exciting, here is my first creation for Crafts 4 Eternity, I am so happy to be on the DT and working with such a talented group of ladies. I am going to keep this short and sweet though, I am due to leave for a visit with the precious little Gracie in the pictures of my scrapbook LO. She is the love of  my world. I can't wait to see her in her Easter dress hunting for eggs. I hope you all have a blessed and happy Easter with your Families.

I know most of the time you are used to seeing cards, but I just couldnt help myself. This was created using dies from The Scrapping Cottage, Bo Bunny PP, Bazzill Card Stock, Martha Stewart punches and Quickutzs dies.
